Students at the University of Hertfordshire are working on an e-marketing project about Polaroid Sunglasses. They’d appreciate it if you could spend five minutes of your time to answer three short surveys to help them develop their digital marketing skills. For those of you who attended the Marketing Careers evening at The University of Hertfordshire, or if you’re looking for some advice to kick start your career in marketing – look no further! Marketing Zone has produced a Guide which will provide helpful ideas, tips and resources to get you started – take a look.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing and the University of Hertfordshire are holding a recruitment event at the University on Wednesday 10 March. Marketing Zone has been asked to be there to provide advice to students who want a career in marketing.

In these testing times, it can be difficult for students to get into the career they want. Employers usually want a mixture of both qualifications and experience, which can be a challenge. This careers evening will give students the best possible advice to kick start their future in marketing. They will find out what’s really involved and the best way to get into such a popular sector.

Along with representatives from Sky TV, Optim Management and Michael Page International, Marketing Zone is pleased to be part of such a fantastic event, and looks forward to helping the students with practical advice. Marketing Zone’s Copywriter, Stephanie, studied at The University of Hertfordshire and went on to have a career in marketing – so we are in a good position to help the students!  Read our guide on  How to get a career in marketing.
