Marketing Zone is delighted to have started working with local charity, Keech Hospice Care, based in Luton.

Keech provide palliative care and support for children from across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes, and adults living in Luton and South Bedfordshire. They run a number of events throughout the year, ranging from Karting Days and Sky Dives, to Santa Runs and Midnight Walks, all with the aim of raising essential funds to run the hospice.

Like many charities Keech depends on support from the community for funding so Marketing Zone has been developing their public relations to make sure potential supporters and those who may need the service are aware of the amazing work done by Keech staff. We’ve already had great support from both local and national press and a feature on BBC’s prime time news.

Mark and Stephanie from Marketing Zone’s team have booked their place at the annual Butterfly Ball, hosted by Keech Hospice Care this Saturday. We also hope to have a Marketing Zone team take part in the Santa Run in November – if we can dust off our running shoes!

If you’re a local business looking to contribute to the community and develop your public profile, then supporting a great charity like Keech Hospice Care could be a good move.

Marketing Zone are please to report that we’ve been able to help one of the local schools in the area, Edwinstree Middle School, move a step further towards its £16,000 target for a much need community minibus.

As an active volunteer, Communications Director Dee Twomey applied for a grant from the Buntingford Memorial Fund, on behalf of Edwinstree School Association. We’re delighted that the Trustees have generously donated £1,000 to the fund which now stands at £15,000.

Trustees of the Buntingford Memorial Fund are keen to spread the word about their role supporting local charitable organisations in the town. They hold a grant-giving round each year, with a call for new applications each July and decisions given in September.  This local project was fortunate to get their support.

You’ve created a strategic email marketing campaign that’s whizzing its way through cyber space to your customers’ inboxes. So what happens next?

Do you want to know to know how well your campaign is doing compared to your competitors? Or do you want to find out who’s getting the best results from their email marketing? Well now you can.

Check-out this useful report based on the results for over 200 million email marketing messages. They were all sent from small-medium sized UK businesses across 23 different industry sectors, and sent via the Sign-Up.to email marketing platform during the first six months of 2010.

Right now the government sector is getting twice the open rates of the education and training industry, and publishing has the least to worry about in terms of unsubscription rates.

Marketing Zone is delivering great email results for our customers. Reports like this keep us on our toes. It’s always good to know how your email marketing campaign compares to competitor promotions so take a look.

in Clients, Creativity

Here at Marketing Zone we don’t rest on our laurels. So when the opportunity came to move to even better premises we jumped at the chance!

We haven’t gone far; our new offices are still in Buntingford High Street, but we’re now in the town’s iconic Manor House. We’re really looking forward to expanding our agency, and the additional rooms will support our expansion plans.

We look forward to welcoming you to our new premises next time you’re in the area.
