| I am a seasoned event
man, with 20 years marketing and event management experience,
strong leadership and project management skills plus an enviable reputation
for high quality business events.
I can offer you a reliable, innovative
and personal event service, through my specialist communications
company, Marketing Zone, established in 1998. I offer you a credible
support service, having worked directly for company Chairmen and
Boards of Directors. I am a qualified, professional, Chartered Marketer
with The Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Fellow of the Institute
of Direct Marketing.
Prior to setting up Marketing Zone I worked in large corporates,
in particular for GAN plc, where I was responsible for the development
and management of conference, recognition and reward programmes,
for the salesforce of 2,000. The programme I developed was recognised
by the Boston Consulting Group as a unique company differentiator.
My clients say I have the rare ability to be able to visualise how
an event will feel, look, sound, even smell – and how the
audience will react, months ahead of it becoming a reality. I have
used many UK venues and know how they work in practice. I’ve
taken groups of more than 300 people abroad for business conferences
and motivational awards.
In my spare moments (hah!) I cycle, swim, take cracking photographs,
scuba dive, windsurf, handle sound for a drama group and manage
a football team – and sleep!
