Mark GanellinMark Ganellin - Chartered Marketer, DipM, DipIDM, FCIM
He’s our Managing Director, a Chartered Marketer and the lead consultant for Marketing Zone. His expertise covers large-scale marketing campaigns, integration of media and project management – to name a few. Mark is a champion of e-marketing, and was one of the first to gain digital qualifications through The Institute of Direct Marketing. Energy is his key characteristic. Mark enjoys being involved with each and every client. Whether discussing a new challenge with a client or heading off to the latest digital marketing conference, there’s always a spring in his step. He’s a great optimist, always pleased to hear about a new idea or discuss the latest phase of a project. And Marketing Zone clients value Mark’s objective advice.

Dee TwomeyDee Twomey - Chartered Marketer, FCIM, FIDM, MMRS
She’s our Communications Director, a marketing author and a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing. With a long history in marketing for blue-chip clients, she’s focused on understanding what our clients do and how they do it. It’s her job to ask big questions, ones that will change the way our clients see things. If there’s a new product or idea in the wings, it’s her knowledge of customers and markets that will help make it a success. She has the utmost respect for our clients, their challenges and their achievements. With a genuine interest in others, her attitude makes Marketing Zone the agency that it is.

Gill HoughtonGill Houghton - MIPR
With a background in journalism, no-one understands the media like Gill. As our Head of PR she knows how to create campaigns that will build a positive public profile. Gill knows what’s newsworthy and what’s not and her insights result in sound PR plans for our clients. She has built an impressive network of contacts by respecting the different needs of opinion leaders and delivering on her promises. Focused, organised and enthusiastic, Gill can be relied upon to makes things happen.

Our Head of Design, Monica, knows how to build brands and frame campaigns. She responds to every brief with original, creative concepts. For her, exploring different creative approaches to find the big idea is a matter of professional pride. Always mindful of business needs. She is committed to developing the next generation of designers through training. Her insights and solutions raise creative standards.

David WhaleDavid Whale BSc Hons, MBCS
Our Software Developer, David, is an experienced technologist. He is fully conversant in virtually all computer systems and languages. David comes into his own when designing software for embedded and web based systems. Our clients appreciate his considered and imaginative problem-solving approach. By streamlining processes, integrating software applications and creating new online tools, David ensures clients websites perform.

As Head of Digital Design, Pam brings a design approach to website building. From Flash to CSS, HTML and Dreamweaver, Pamela knows how to get attention, ensure W3C accessibility and maximise visitor time on site. She is one of life’s innovators, with a breadth of expertise that includes social media, e-commerce, animation and application development. With impeccable design and web credentials Pamela creates effective online brands.

For Stephanie, our Senior Marketing Copywriter, identifying and communicating benefits are top of the list. For her, it’s all about putting in the hard work to develop the right approach to engaging customers. It could be a new communications campaign or a suite of business literature, whatever it is, she’ll ensure that words are used to best effect. Her editorial and copywriting skills give our clients the edge.

For Laura, our Social Media Copywriter it’s all about developing your brand by taking part in online conversations. An accomplished writer, Laura understands the latest social media tools and builds brand presence online with facebook fans, twitter followers and LinkedIn profiles. From creating regular company blogs, to developing effective relationships with online opinion leaders, Laura has the enthusiasm and expertise to make it happen.

When it comes to difficult and detailed design briefs, our Senior Designer, Leyla, has the experience and creativity to think laterally. Equally at home with print media, email design or websites, Leyla always looks for better ways to communicate through design. Unlike most designers she is also expert in designing for Word templates and interactive PowerPoint presentations, so important for business-to-business marketing.
