The US high school programme Glee caused a sensation when it launched in the UK two years ago. And it’s taken amateur dramatic clubs and the performing arts world to new heights. We’ve seen this first hand as Marketing Zone developed a logo and website on behalf of The Jack Petchey Foundation, which gives grants to programmes and projects that benefit young people.
The Glee Club Challenge gives youngsters the opportunity to compete for a chance to perform at the West End’s Savoy Theatre. The website Marketing Zone created for the Challenge provides entrants with all the information they need to take part, and we’ve included the facility to upload demo videos.
Many groups have entered so far, and it’s great to see the positive impact this show is having on young performers.
