As part of our trade media relations plan for Polaroid Eyewear, we’ve been developing and distributing press releases to industry publications.

A recent press release generated interest from Marketing Week. It featured Polaroid signing a six year deal between their joint venture company StyleMark China and BMW in Munich to supply and distribute BMW branded premium ranges of sunglasses and optical frames. This article was published as part of Marketing Week’s feature on brands working with other brands to investigate whether licensing and control issues come into play with third parties.

“As a licensee we have to make sure the business will be incremental from what we do at the moment. We make sure the licensor is looking for us to distribute in markets or channels where we are already very strong,” said Rebecca Harwood Lincoln, Polaroid Eyewear’s UK sales manager.
