Yesterday Marketing Zone went to the heart of Government. The occasion was the annual Debating Group reception. The venue was the terrace at the House of Commons over-looking the Thames. It was a great opportunity to meet other marketing professionals including our lovely contacts from The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Going to Debating Group sessions helps to keep our thinking fresh – and not just accept current marketing conventions. The Debating Group brings marketers, politicians, journalists and the public together to discuss the contentious political issues which surround marketing. Marketing Zone MD, Mark, will be at the next debate on the motion ‘Advertising is good for the soul’.
