We know he can talk the talk. But will Mark from Marketing Zone be able to walk the walk? This weekend, on Saturday 21 May, Mark takes part in the South Downs Trekathon. According to the event website: “The full 26-mile walk should take approximately 8-10 hours for fit and strong walkers; others should allow longer. It may take some walkers up to 12 hours or more.” It’s all for a good cause. Mark is hoping to raise £250 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Mark won’t be on his own on Saturday. His walking buddy Mike, will be there too. Mike is also a marketer and like Mark he runs a marketing agency. Mike and Mark worked together in financial services marketing for many years and have stayed good friends ever since.
The route for the Trekathon takes in the South Downs Way, with its tough climbs and descents. Mark and Mike start out from the town of Lewes in Sussex early in the morning and finish (we hope) on the highest chalk sea cliff in England, at Beachy Head … some time later.
