It’s my third day working here at Marketing Zone. Today I have completed many things and approached more tasks. It started off with Stephanie Bevan teaching me how to post blogs and images onto a website so that now I can post my own work experience blogs without any help. Then later on, I made a start on finishing the spreadsheet for local businesses that I set up yesterday. It was hard work as many of the websites I viewed had been closed down or did not make the information clear although I did complete it in the end.
Next, I improved my plan of the photo shoot I did yesterday. I drew out some sketches of what I would want the people in the photos to pose like. Robin and I came up with the idea that we should have small groups of boys and girls participating in sport (action shots) and also small groups sitting or standing together (casual shots). We thought it would be best to ask the elder students at Freman College to be in them.
Later on, I was taught how to send out sunglasses to competition winners. I learnt a lot about how the system works and how to pack them correctly. I boxed a few Polaroid sunglasses and stuck address labels on the top. Once all the boxes were ready, Robin and I took them up to the post office to get them sent to the competition winners. After that I looked at a few sports sunglasses and chose eight which I thought would look good and that can be advertised well in the photo shoot which hopefully will happen on Friday. As you can tell I have been very busy today, I’ve enjoyed the work I have done and am looking forward to tomorrow at Marketing Zone.
