Marketing Zone have been helping local work placement student Amy Hardy get creative. Amy landed a project to shoot pictures for the Polaroid website, and we were delighted to give her the opportunity to build up her portfolio of work.

As part of the photoshoot, Amy found herself on a £500,000 yacht. “It was such a thrill for me,” said Amy. “One day I was at university in Hatfield as normal – and the next I was on location assisting a professional photographer, matching beautiful sunglasses to glamorous models for a prestigious client – and seeing how things are done in the real world!”

The work experience scheme really helps students. Graduates starting out in these difficult times often have no work experience, and just a few weeks with a company can provide them with an insight into their chosen careers, and experience they can talk about at interviews. Top marks all round!
