As finalists in the national Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Marketing Excellence Awards for the transformational marketing work we’ve done for Polaroid Eyewear, Marketing Zone had a great evening at the awards ceremony at The Grosvenor Hotel in London last week.
As a short-lister in the Retail Category, we were competing with Marks and Spencer, Doritos, Unilever, PepsiCo, Dove and Topshop.
Our entry showcased the marketing campaign we created for Polaroid Eyewear’s heritage sunglasses collection, Best Under the Sun. It made a great impression with the judges.
Although we were pipped to the post by Doritos and their London agency AMV BBDO, it was fantastic to be credited as a finalist.
We were amongst over 1,000 guests who attended the ceremony, and enjoyed the banter of celebrity host, Rory Bremner. It was great to be networking with so many marketers celebrating marketing excellence, innovation and best practice.
